Prayatna honors Susan Raphael, Special Educator at the center as she celebrates her 1st Work Anniversary with the team.
Susan holds a M.Sc in Counseling and Guidance, she is also a special educator with Rehabilitation council of India (RCI) certification & she has completed certificate course in Inclusive Education (Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan/HKBK College).
In her career span of over 15 years, she was associated with many reputed special schools where she carved a niche for herself as a special educator and counselor. She has lead teams of educators to achieve success with numerous learners in education and skill development. With her knowledge and training in ISO (International Organization of Standards) Standards (9001:2015 &22000 2018) in an educational setup, her training approaches are well integrated to ensure she meets the goals effectively. She has basic training in Feuerstein’s Instrumental Enrichment & Let’s Talk Math program which are unique approaches that can be used to train person’s with SEN (special educational needs).
She turns difficulties or challenges a student possesses into opportunities which is utilized for growth, she is able to counsel, educators and others involved in the training to see the positives and turn every probable goal to a prolific achievement.Her interest in learning about global Approaches in education has lead to associations with various international training and research entities and has been a part of research work and conferences like UDL IRN –Universal Design for learning implementation and research network (USA) , SITE – Society for information technology and teacher education (USA) , She is also an Alumni of – Mashav Israel’s agency for international development cooperation. Course on Special and Inclusive Education (METC Jerusalem 2018).
Her dedication towards work and her excellency in the services she renders to her children at Prayatna are commendable. Her active participation in multiple areas of Prayatna’s endeavors have made her stand out with praise. Prayatna appreciates her for her sincere service for an year and congratulates her on her 1st work anniversary day and the whole team of professionals at Prayatna extends their love and wishes.
